This guide shows you how to update your name and profile photo in Composerie. It is for anyone signed in to the dashboard who wants their account to show the right name and picture. The steps are short, and every role can do them.
What you can change here
Your Profile page is your personal account. It is separate from your organization settings and from your team. Changes you make here apply to you alone, not to everyone in the workspace.
On this screen you can set two things:
- Your Full name, the display name shown across the dashboard.
- Your Profile photo, the avatar that appears next to your account.
Your Email address is shown on the same screen, but it is read-only. The field is greyed out, with the help text “Email cannot be changed here”. You can read it to confirm which account you are signed in to, but you cannot edit it on this page.
Change your name and photo
Follow these steps to update your photo and name, then save.
Open Settings, then Profile
Sign in at app.composerie.com. Open Settings, then choose Profile. The Personal Information section loads with your avatar at the top and your name and email below it.
Change or remove your photo
In the avatar row, click Change photo to upload a new image. Pick an image file from your device, and it uploads in place. If you already have a photo and want to clear it, click Remove photo instead.
Edit your full name
Click in the Full name field and type the name you want shown. This is the display name used across the dashboard.
Save your changes
Click Save profile. The Save button stays disabled until you change something, so if it looks greyed out, edit your name or photo first. Once you save, you see a confirmation and your new details apply right away.
Common questions
Why can't I change my email here?
Email is read-only on the Profile page. It is shown so you can confirm which account you are signed in to, with the help text Email cannot be changed here.
Who can edit the Profile page?
Every role can open and edit their own Profile. It is a personal account screen, so the change applies only to you.
What if my photo will not upload?
Pick a standard image file and try Change photo again. If it still fails, an error appears under the avatar row. Contact support if the problem continues.
Do my changes affect my teammates?
No. Your name and photo are personal to your account. To manage other people, use the team and roles page.
