Find invoices, receipts, and tax details

See your billing history, download invoice PDFs, and add the legal business name and VAT or Tax ID that appear on your invoices.

This guide shows you where Composerie keeps your billing records. You will find your invoice history, download invoice PDFs, and add the legal business details that need to appear on each invoice. It is for any merchant who handles their own bookkeeping or needs tax-compliant invoices.

View and download invoices

Composerie keeps a record of every payment you make. You find it in your settings.

Open Settings, then Billing, and scroll down to the Billing history section. This table lists each invoice on its own row. Every row shows the invoice Date, the Amount, and a Status badge. The status tells you where the invoice stands: paid once the payment went through, open if it is still due, and so on.

To save a copy, find the Download icon at the end of a paid invoice’s row and click it. That opens the invoice PDF, which you can save or print for your records.

Each invoice row shows its date, amount, status, and a download icon.

You do not have to come back here after every charge. When a payment goes through, Composerie also emails you a receipt with the subject “Payment received”. So you get a copy in your inbox and a copy in your billing history.

For more detail on a single invoice, open its row to reach the invoice detail page. It shows the Billing period, the Paid on date, and a download link for that invoice’s PDF.

Most jurisdictions require your invoices to carry your legal business name and a tax number. Composerie has a place to enter these once, and they then appear on every future invoice.

Open the Legal business info section

Go to Settings, then Billing. Scroll past the billing history to the Legal business info section.

The legal business info form holds your legal name, country, tax number, and address.

Fill in your business details

Enter your legal business name, pick your country, and add your VAT or Tax ID. Then fill in your billing address: address line 1, an optional line 2, city, state, and postal code.

Save the details

Click Save. Composerie stores your details and syncs them to Stripe, the service that issues your invoices. Once synced, they show up on your invoices, which is what most tax authorities expect to see.

Where do I download an invoice PDF?

Open Settings, then Billing, scroll to Billing history, and click the download icon on the invoice row.

Do I get a receipt by email?

Yes. When a payment succeeds, Composerie emails you a receipt with the subject Payment received.

Why is my VAT number not on my invoice?

It needs to be saved in the Legal business info section and synced to Stripe. If you saw a sync warning, the change may not have reached Stripe yet.

Can I change the business name shown on past invoices?

No. Your legal details apply to future invoices only. Already-issued invoices keep the details that were on file at the time.
