This guide walks you through creating your Composerie account. It is for new merchants signing up for the first time. You can use an email and a password, your Google account, or your Shopify store. Pick the one that fits how you want to start.
Sign up with email and a password
The email path is the most common way to start. You enter a few details, verify your address, and you are in.
Open the register page
Go to app.composerie.com/register. The form is titled “Create your account”.
Enter your name and email
Type your full name in the “Full name” field. Add your email in the “Email address” field. This is where your verification link is sent, so use an address you can open right away.
Choose and confirm a password
Create a password in the “Password” field. It must be at least 8 characters. Type the same password again in the “Confirm password” field. A strength meter shows how strong your choice is as you type. You can tap the eye icon to reveal what you typed.
Agree to the terms and submit
Check the box that says “I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy”. Then select “Create account”. If a field is missing or the two passwords do not match, Composerie tells you inline before it submits.
Verify your email
After you submit, you land on a page titled “Check your inbox”. It tells you the link was sent to your address and gives you a “Resend email” button. Open the link in your inbox to verify your account.
Sign in
Once your email is verified, you can sign in and reach your dashboard.
Sign up with Google or Shopify
If you would rather skip the email form, the register page has two other options below it, under an “Or continue with” divider.
Select the Google button to sign up with your Google account in one step. There is no separate password to set and no email link to click. Google handles the sign-in, and Composerie creates your account from it.
Select the Shopify button if you would rather start by connecting your store. It begins the Shopify connection flow right away. This is a good choice when you already run a Shopify store and want Composerie linked to it from the start.
Both paths create your workspace for you, the same way the email path does. So whichever button you pick, you end up with an account and a workspace ready to use.

Your workspace is created for you
When your account is created, by email signup or by Google, Composerie sets up a workspace for you automatically. You do not have to create one by hand.
The workspace is named after you. For example, if your name is Alex Rivera, it is named “Alex Rivera’s Store”. This is the home for your products, orders, and settings.
You become the owner of that workspace. Ownership means you can invite teammates and decide what each of them can do later on. To learn how, see manage your team and roles.
The default name and other details are not fixed. You can rename the workspace and adjust its details in Settings whenever you like.

Do I need a Shopify store to sign up?
No. You can create an account with email or Google first and connect a Shopify store later. The Shopify button is just a shortcut if you want to start with your store.
What are the password rules?
Your password must be at least 8 characters. A strength meter helps you pick something secure, and you confirm it by typing it twice.
I did not get the verification email. What now?
Check your spam folder first. If it is not there, use the resend button on the pending page. The link expires after one hour, so resend if too much time has passed.
Why do I have to verify my email?
Verification confirms the address belongs to you and keeps your account secure. Open the link in your inbox, or enter the 6-digit code on the pending page if you opened the email elsewhere.
