The Media Library is your shared home for creative files. Use it before you start a design when you want images, fonts, vectors, or color assets ready to reuse across products.
Open the library
Choose Media Library in the dashboard navigation. The left panel filters by asset type and folder. The main area contains search, sorting, the upload area, and your files.

Upload a file
- Click Upload files, or drag files into the upload area.
- Select the files you want to add.
- Wait for the upload to finish before opening the asset in a design.
Composerie accepts PNG, JPG, SVG, WebP, GIF, TTF, OTF, and WOFF2 files. Anything else is refused with the list of formats it does take.

Size limits
An image or vector may be up to 5 MB, and it is refused before it is stored if it is larger.
A font has a second check on top of the size one, and the second is stricter: it must be a single static face under 5 MiB. A file between 5 MiB and 10 MB clears the size check and is then refused by the font check with “Upload one static font file under 5 MiB”, so treat 5 MiB as the real font limit. Choosing a typeface covers what else a font file has to be.
If a photo is over 5 MB, export it again at the size you actually print rather than at camera resolution. A 300 DPI file for a 20 by 30 cm print is around 2400 by 3600 pixels, which a good JPG holds well under the limit.
The name you upload is the name you see
Client logo (final) v2.png stays Client logo (final) v2.png in the library, spaces and brackets included, and that is the text the search field matches against. Composerie does normalize a name for the storage key behind the asset, but you never see that key and you never search it.
So the name is worth a few seconds before you upload. Call it what you would go looking for in a month, because that is the only string standing between you and a scroll through a hundred thumbnails.
Fonts are the exception: a font is listed under its family rather than its file name. Choosing a typeface covers how that name is derived.
You do not pick the type
The type filter on the left is derived from the file, not chosen by you. An SVG becomes a vector, a TTF, OTF or WOFF2 becomes a font, and every other accepted image becomes an image. That is why an SVG you think of as a logo appears under vectors.
Keep assets easy to find
Create folders for groups you use repeatedly, such as product photography, customer logos, seasonal artwork, or brand fonts. Use the type filters when you only need a font, vector, color, or image. The search field searches the assets currently available in the library.
See where an asset is used
Click an asset to open its detail panel on the right. Under the file information it tells you either “Not used in any design”, or it lists every design that uses it, each one a link you can follow.
The panel also carries the asset’s own address, with a copy button beside it. That address is what a print file and a storefront preview both load, which is the reason the next section matters.
Deleting is permanent, and the warning is the only guard
Click Delete and a confirmation appears. When the asset is used somewhere, the confirmation counts it: “This asset is used in 3 design(s). Deleting it may break those designs.”
Read that number before you confirm. Composerie does not block the deletion or swap in a placeholder. The asset is removed, the designs that pointed at it keep pointing at an address that is no longer there, and there is no undo.
Use an asset in a design
Open Design Studio, then add an image, graphic, or text element. Choose the asset from the relevant picker. Files in the Media Library remain available for future designs, so you do not need to upload them again for every product.
