The Products page is where you see everything you sell with Composerie in one place. This guide shows you how to find a product fast, narrow the list with filters, and run actions like archive, duplicate, or delete. It is for anyone managing a catalog, from your first few products to a large one.
Find and view your products
Open Products from the left navigation. The page has three parts: a stats bar at the top, a toolbar below it, and your products shown as either a grid of cards or a list of rows.
To find a specific product, type its name in the search box. The list filters as you type, with a short pause so it does not jump on every keystroke.
To change how products are displayed, use the view toggle in the toolbar to switch between grid and list. Composerie remembers your choice in your browser, so the page opens the same way next time.
The toolbar also holds filters you can combine:
- Status narrows the list by product state.
- Publication state lets you focus on unpublished products, published ones, or products live on more than one channel.
- Channel limits the list to a single sales channel.
- Needs attention is a toggle that shows only products with a warning or error health state. The toggle includes a count, so you can see at a glance how many products want a look.
The list shows 20 products per page. If you have more, use the pagination at the bottom to move through them.
Archive, duplicate, or delete products
You can act on one product or many at once. Selecting products with their checkboxes opens a bulk bar at the bottom of the screen with three actions: Archive, Duplicate, and Delete. In list view, the same three actions are also available from the menu on each row, so you do not have to select first.
Select the products you want to change
Tick the checkbox on each product you want to act on. As soon as one is selected, the bulk bar appears at the bottom and shows how many products are selected. To start over, use the close (X) button on the bar to clear your selection.
Duplicate to make a copy
Choose Duplicate to create a copy of each selected product. This is handy when you want a new product that starts from an existing one instead of building it from scratch. See create a product for what you can change afterward.
Archive to hide a product
Choose Archive to hide a product from your active list without deleting it. Right after you archive, a success message appears with an Undo link. Select Undo if you archived something by mistake and it comes straight back.
Delete to remove a product for good
Choose Delete to open a confirmation dialog. The dialog shows what will be removed along with the product, such as its designs, variants, and mockups, so you know the impact before you confirm. Deleting is permanent.
If any of the selected products have a linked Shopify product, the dialog offers an Also delete on Shopify checkbox. Tick it if you want Composerie to remove the matching product on Shopify too; leave it clear to keep the Shopify product in place.
Products that are tied to existing orders cannot be deleted. The dialog flags those for you, and they stay safe while the rest are removed. To finish, confirm the delete in the dialog, or choose Cancel to back out.
Common questions
Why can't I delete a product?
It is tied to one or more existing orders. The delete dialog flags products that are blocked by orders and protects them. The other selected products are still removed.
Does archiving remove the product from my store?
Archiving hides it from your active Products list. To control what shows on your storefront, see publishing a product.
Where did the bulk bar go?
It only shows while products are selected. Clear your selection with the close button and it disappears. Select a product again to bring it back.
Will the grid or list view reset when I leave?
No. Your grid or list choice is saved in your browser, so the page opens the same way next time.
