Design Studio
Build product templates on the canvas: text, images, layers, fonts, effects, and personalization fields.
- Tour the Design Studio Canvas Get to know the Design Studio layout: the left icon rail, the canvas, the top bar, the floating toolbar, and the zoom controls.
- Add and Style Text Add a text element, set the font, size, color, alignment, spacing, and casing, and turn on auto-fit so long text stays inside its box.
- Add Images and Photos Place an image on the canvas from your media library or by uploading a file, then crop it and apply adjustments and effects.
- Add Graphics, Icons, Emojis, and Backgrounds Open the Graphics panel to add shapes, search 250,000+ icons, drop in emojis or background patterns, and use your brand uploads.
- Add Shapes and Lines Add rectangles, circles, lines, arrows, polygons, and stars, then set their fill, stroke, corners, and points.
- Choose and Load Fonts Pick from popular and Google fonts in the font picker, search by name, and use fonts your team has uploaded.
- Set Colors and Fills Change the fill and stroke of any element, set the canvas background to white, transparent, or a custom color, and recolor multi-part graphics.
- Apply Text Effects: Shadow, Outline, Glow, Curve, and More Use the toggle-based Effects panel to add a shadow, outline, glow, splice, background, echo, 3D depth, glitch, curve, or warp to text.
- Adjust Photos and Apply Image Effects Use the Adjustments drawer for exposure, contrast, and color, and the Effects stack for filters like black and white, blur, borders, remove background, and more.
- Work with Layers, Groups, and Stacking Order Use the Layers panel to select, rename, hide, lock, reorder, group, and isolate elements, and to change what sits in front or behind.
- Align, Distribute, and Tidy Objects Select two or more elements to align their edges or centers, distribute them evenly with optional custom spacing, tidy a row or column, and flip an element.
- Keyboard Shortcuts, Undo, Snapping, and Guides Speed up with keyboard shortcuts, undo and redo any change, and toggle the grid, snapping, rulers, and print guides in Settings.
- Make Fields Customers Can Edit Turn an element into a personalization field so shoppers can change its text, photo, color, dropdown, and more, then set its label, default, and limits.
- Lay Out the Customizer Form and Preview It Choose a single, wizard, or tabbed layout for the shopper form, reorder fields, and preview the live customizer in the right-hand dock.
- Manage Surfaces, Rotate the Canvas, and Sync Across Sides Switch between print surfaces, rename and reorder them, rotate a surface between portrait and landscape, and apply one design across every surface.
- Save and Reuse Design Templates Save the current design as a reusable template and apply any saved template to start a new design from a proven layout.
- Preview Your Design on a Mockup See a live snapshot of your design in the Mockup tab, refresh it as you work, and download it as a PNG.
